About the Course

2018: One Tuesday per month from March – November.  For specific Tuesday dates, see the “Dates and Details” tab. All classes will be held at the Thyme Herbal classroom and gardens in Conway, Ma.

Archetypes are present in every part of our lives, from the cultural stories and notions we have about our own identity and those of our friends and families, to the role of community, political, social and cultural figures and figures of history.  The stories attached to archetypal figures can inspire and guide us, hold us back and confine us, and help us make change and grow.  Archetypes are elements of the individual and collective psyche.  Engeging in archetypal symbols of the culture, our own individuality, and the eart and cosmos; planets, plants, elements – we engeage in the potential to re-imagine our archetypal role-models and to engeage alternative energies for our own healing.

In this course you will learn:

  • Rituals and practices for engaging with the archetypal energy of planets and stars, plants and animals, stones and crystals, community and cultural dynamics and historical figures.

Required Reading:

A certificate is awarded upon completion of the course.
