Our annual Moon Calendar is designed to help you keep track of and live in harmony with the cycles of the moon. Lunar patterns can influence our body, mind, and spirit. Living in accordance with these tides can help to support our relationship to cycles of growth, creativity, inspiration, rest, and productivity. The Moon Calendar is an excellent way to connect with natural cycles and get to know the phases of the Moon. It is also an excellent place to keep track of your own inner cycles – mapping personal patterns of inspiration, rest, creativity, social nourishment, menstruation, and more alongside the phases of the Moon.

The 2027 Moon Calendar illustrates the wheel of the Celtic year, visually carrying us through the seasonal flow of sunlight, plant and animal life, and the activities that animate our lives. Each of the eight seasons in the wheel is marked by the name of a traditional Celtic festival, which takes place on the first day of that season. The start of each season and the associated festivals line up with the solstices, equinoxes and cross-quarter dates of the solar year. You can honor the seasonal festivals on their special day, throughout the season, or simply draw inspiration from the images and symbols as you move through the wheel of the year in your own unique way.

The earth’s rotation around the sun affects all aspects of life, from the inner world of our emotions and our energy levels, to our community rituals and the cycles of nature. Our Celtic Wheel of the Year illustration draws on ancient seasonal, symbolic, and spiritual associations from Celtic European heritage, with some influence from neo-Pagan practices. Each of the eight seasonal festivals can be celebrated on a specific day, but they can also be seen as an invitation to relate and reflect generally on your experience with each season’s energy. No matter your ancestry, personal beliefs, or the ecosystem you call home, tuning into the yearly cycle of birth, growth, and descent in your personal life and in the cycle of life around you can offer meaning, guidance, clarity, and connection.
